Now that the Government is relaxing the lockdown and allowing a return to work, we want to reassure our customers of the steps we will be taking to ensure your safety during our work.

Will not be greeting you with a handshake but you can be assured of a friendly smile!
Will maintain the 2-metre distance rule and discuss this with you when I arrive at your property
Will be wearing a mask when in close proximity to you
Will be wiping down all surfaces that I have touched with a disinfectant cleaning agent on completion of my work
Will not be accepting kind offers of refreshments
Will bring their own hand towel
Will regularly sanitise hands during the work
Will not be handing over any paperwork on completion of the job. Instead, this will be emailed. If this isn’t possible then protective gloves will be worn when handling paperwork
Finally, if any of our installers have any of the symptoms related to Coronavirus, they will call you immediately to reschedule the work

We’re pleased to announce that Access4Lofts is now the preferred installer of the ‘Loft Leg‘ system.
The ‘Loft Leg’ system is a unique design protected solution to avoid insulation compression when boarding your loft for storage. It is therefore ideal for use in ‘new build’ properties where the insulation has been installed to the government recommendation of 270mm to achieve a U value of 0.16 (www.energysavingtrust.org.uk).
Access4Lofts and Loft Leg have often been asked whether installing a system such as ‘Loft Leg’ would invalidate the NHBC warranty on new builds and have therefore created a ‘new house information pack’ that separates fact from fiction and gives clear advice on whether installing a raised loft storage system such as Loft Leg would have any effect on the NHBC warranty.
After such a warm summer the impending cold winter is probably the last thing on your mind. However, now is the ideal time to ensure your insulation is up to current standards.
Acording to the National Insulation Association up to a third of the heat in your home could be lost through your loft. The current recommended depth of loft insulation is 270mm (10.5inches).
Don’t worry if you want to use your loft for storage once it has been insulation because Access4Lofts can ensure any storage solution is fitted above your loft insulation.
