Insulated Loft Hatch and 2.9 Telescopic Loft Ladder for Mrs C

The Customers

Mrs C was interested in getting easier access to her loft, she knew she had some great storage space up there but didn't feel comfortable accessing it. She had to get her freestanding ladder from the garage, drag it up the stairs and place it precariously close to her bannister. This was not safe and was too much effort. So Mrs C booked in a survey with Des to see what her options were.

The Job

It was decided that due to the minimal space that Mrs C already had in her loft, it was best that a 2.9 telescopic loft ladder was installed. To fit this, we also had to update her loft hatch door, and adapt it to drop down with plywood, a fitted locking mechanism we also insulate and draught proof these hatch doors to ensure there is no cold air escaping from the loft. The 2.9 telescopic ladder has; wide non-slip treads for comfort and safety, automatic locking and release mechanism, rubber feet for safety and protecting floors, spring assisted stowage, sits over hatch so doesn’t use up room in loft and of course comes with our lifetime guarantee.
