Mr B had recently moved into his new build home. It didn't have as much storage space as he would have liked it to have, so he called Access4Lofts to see how we could help him.

The Job

From the survey it was clear that the team could install 30 sq meters of boarding. As this was a new build Des recommended that they installed the loft flooring on loft legs- our loft leg system, is a unique design protected solution to avoid insulation compression when using your loft for storage. Government guidelines recommend that we insulate with 270mm of quilt insulation to achieve a U value of 0.16. Thermal studies have shown that compressing your insulation can reduce its thermal properties by more than 50%.
