Mr S in Colchesters loft boarding and shelving transformation

The Customers

Mr S lives in a bungalow, meaning he has limited storage space wanted to ensure that he could use his loft space in the most efficient way. His loft hatch was very dated and he didn't have a loft ladder so he wasn't able to access it. Although his loft was well insulated, there was nowhere store any items without compressing the insulation.

The Job

This 3 man job took a number of hours, the loft was swiftly boarded out by Phil and Emily, while Des worked on the shelving, loft hatch and loft ladder. Our loft shelving is what caught Mr S's eye on our website. He thought that this was the perfect facility for him store his surfboards and suitcases. The loft shelving had a number of advantages: utilises wasted space between roof trusses, cost effective storage solution, saves crawling into eaves to retrieve boxes, easily accessible, allows better access to loft floor. Mr S was so pleased with the end result of his new and improved loft space.
