Simon was brilliant and if we didn’t have a nice new loft hatch you wouldn’t know that any serious building work had been done, due to how clean the room was left afterwards. Really good service throughout the process. Good discussions before installation to pick the right products needed. And the final installation is better than we thought it would be. Simon has provided a first-class service with the installation of loft insulation, boarding and a
telescopic loft ladder at our home in Worcester. The house in question has a very awkward roof

Responded to my first enquiry after 24 hours. Came to see us and explained several access options. Chose to go with the telescopic ladder. Quote arrived promptly. Had ladder and hatch fitted yesterday. Simon was non intrusive and got on with the job. Really pleased with the result. First class workmanship. Would highly recommend.

Simon topped up the loft insulation, fitted loft flooring and customed a new loft flap in order to install a pull down loft ladder. He demonstrated considerable competence in all the jobs, even the surveyor who performed our EPC volunteered that he was impressed at the standard of the work. We sought other quotes and other installers had not been capable of creation of a loft flap with a pull-down ladder due to the restricted space at the top of the ladder. The quote was reasonable and was honoured, as was the start and end dates. The impact on the temperature in the house was phenomenal. We could not be more pleased.

Mr. Winfield has made it possible for us to access our loft for the first time, and to use it for storage purposes. The loft ladder is secure and easy to use, and the boarding and shelving installed is neat and effective. The installation process was quick and tidy, and caused minimal disruption. Simon was very professional. He had incredibly good product knowledge and was able to advise us which ladder would be best for us. He was Covid aware and took the necessary actions to keep us and himself safe. He turned up when he said he was going to and left the area clean and tidy when he left.
